Efficient ethenolysis (CM using ethylene) can be accomplished with Mo catalysts. Contrary to the previous findings with Ru-catalysts, Mo- and W-catalysts cope well with ethylene, many of the ethenolysis reactions require very low catalyst loading and the TON often exceeds 10000.
